About Me
I'm Ignacio (they/them), an Argentine psychologist and mindfulness trainer based in Berkeley, California. I identify as vegan, non-binary, and queer. I fluently read, write, and speak in Spanish and English. I hold an academic degree in Psychology and have supported clients as a licensed therapist in Argentina and as licensed life coach in the United States. I also specializations in psychodrama and Third Wave approaches like Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
For over two decades, I’ve explored a wide range of meditation practices and ways to implement them into day to day life. For example, I have designed a mindfulness program for school teachers, illustrated and co-written mindfulness booklets for children and adults, and completed a teacher training in Full Presence Mindfulness and mindful eating. I have also been deeply influenced by non-traditional approaches, such as the SAT program created by Claudio Naranjo which combines personality theory (Enneagram), authentic movement, Gestalt group therapy and various forms of meditation, including Vipassana, Zen and Tibetan contemplative practices.
Beyond psychology, mindfulness, and meditation, I’m an artist with experience in fine arts and music production. This creative background allows me to guide clients in unlocking their own creativity, helping them face challenges in authentic, innovative, and meaningful ways.
I approach each client holistically. I integrate somatic, emotional, psychological, spiritual and relational aspects of the human experience. I support clients with discerning their values and orienting themselves pragmatically towards more fulfilling lives.
